India

It is outside of the comfort zone that we push our boundaries and grow as individuals.

In mid January 2020 I left home with a backpack and my old 35mm camera to set out overseas on a journey that would ultimately broaden my perspective and open my eyes to the wider world that we live in. Over a period of around 10 weeks, a craving for a backpacking adventure led me to Sri Lanka where I then headed north and made my way throughout India, eventually reaching the militarised state of Kashmir in the Himalayas. Backpacking was a chance for me to peel back the materialistic blindfold that covers us, and through having new experiences I learned a little bit more about the world and about myself.
