In 2018 I went to Vietnam with my backpack, an old button phone, film camera and 20 rolls of Tri-X black and white film. My only plans were to travel through the country starting in the south in Saigon, and to get to Hanoi six weeks later. At the time, having recently finished school I was looking to get out of my comfort zone and test myself in the big wide world - to strip away the layers of conditioning and to lose myself to find myself. I was soul searchin'. I also wanted to create authentic art from the heart and with my trusty Nikon FM2 we captured beautiful fleeting moments . In a way this was my own coming of age experience.
