Fond memories in 2019 travelling up the coast of Western Australia in my converted 4x4 home on wheels, the mighty Mitsubishi Delica. I guess that was how I moved out of home for the first time - leaving home to head north, with no plans and no time limit. Bumming around sleeping in carparks, driving down bush tracks and trying to avoid rangers, even though I talked myself out of five fines on that trip. Seeing home like that, with no limits and complete freedom to go and see and do whatever I was drawn to in natures playground was a special experience. I met some great people and made some awesome memories. I ended up in Kununurra with $100 to my name when I got a call back from a luxury tour company to work out at the Bungle Bungles, or Purnululu National Park, and being able to spend a good amount of time in a place like that just blew my mind. WA is raw, vast and ignites your spirit.
